Estani Live Original | Hold On | Quaranteeny Tiny Love Song

I couldn’t have asked for a better song to bring to life during quarantine. “Hold On” was a song I had tucked away for a while and really didn’t know if I was ever going to record it. It had passed through quite a few hands before I decided to just give it life through my own voice. Truth be told, I had wanted a strong soul singer to sing this, and was holding out until I potentially found one. It had been put on hold for sometime, as it passed through a contestant on X Factor, then a younger vocalist, who is just amazing, but just didn’t have the life experience yet to truly feel the song.

So, once I started seeing so many live music videos with socially distanced musicians within a new format, I decided to give it a try. I called my friend Carlos in LA (I was in San Antonio, TX at the time) and asked him if he’d be willing to lay down a live piano recording for the song, and send it to me. He’s an amazing musician, and thankfully, he obliged. Once I received his video, I was able to record myself singing to his video, which is what you see in the final YouTube video. This was an ingenuous way to live record when you can’t be close, or for that matter, even in the same city or country. Though it’s been a time of so many new, unwelcome, and abrupt changes, it has forced us to find new outlets within ourselves to get our music heard or just getting ourselves out there on different platforms in different circumstances. Pushing past our limits will always find the truest part of ourselves and what we are actually willing to do for what we love. Hope you enjoy! Thank you for all the support and love for the song!
